Gender Roles are shifting. Partially due to the attitude of millenials and partially due to the economic climate. Millenials value balance and aren't willing to cheat themselves in either their personal or professional life. The economic climate has displaced many employed men and at-home women. As a result, families are experiencing a flip-flop in roles. More men are doing laundry and cooking and more women are putting in long hours.
As ABCNEWS.com points out in"Generation of Dissolving Gender Roles" in many households, men and women play equal roles in work and family.
